Ingredients

  • Vietnamese coffee grounds - 30 grams
  • Hot water - 240 ml
  • Coconut milk - 120 ml
  • Condensed coconut milk - 30 ml
  • Ice cubes - 1 cup
  • Sugar (to taste) - optional

Steps

  1. Begin by boiling 240 ml of water in a kettle or pot.
  2. In a Vietnamese coffee filter (phin), add 30 grams of Vietnamese coffee grounds.
  3. Pour a small amount of hot water over the coffee grounds to bloom them, allowing them to sit for 30 seconds.
  4. Gradually pour the remaining hot water over the coffee grounds and let it drip into a glass or cup below for about 4-5 minutes.
  5. While the coffee is brewing, prepare your serving glasses by adding a cup of ice cubes to each glass.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix the coconut milk and condensed coconut milk until well combined.
  7. Once the coffee is brewed, pour it over the ice-filled glasses.
  8. Top each glass with the coconut milk mixture and stir gently to combine.
  9. Taste and adjust sweetness with sugar if desired, then serve immediately.
