Ingredients

  • Pizza dough - 200 grams
  • Tomato sauce - 100 ml
  • Strong brewed coffee - 30 ml
  • Vegan mozzarella cheese - 100 grams
  • Red bell pepper - 1 (sliced)
  • Mushrooms - 100 grams (sliced)
  • Red onion - 1 small (sliced)
  • Fresh basil leaves - 10 grams
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Chili flakes - 1/4 teaspoon (optional)

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix the tomato sauce with the brewed coffee, salt, black pepper, and chili flakes until well combined.
  3. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface until it reaches your desired thickness.
  4. Transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Spread the coffee-infused tomato sauce evenly over the pizza dough.
  6. Sprinkle the vegan mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
  7. Arrange the sliced red bell pepper, mushrooms, and red onion evenly over the cheese.
  8. Drizzle olive oil over the top of the pizza.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted.
  10. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh basil leaves, slice, and serve hot.
