Steps
- Prepare the marinade by combining the finely chopped lemongrass, minced garlic, chopped shallots, fish sauce, brown sugar, turmeric powder, black pepper, and vegetable oil in a bowl.
- Place the fish fillets in the marinade, ensuring they are thoroughly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 15 minutes to prevent burning.
