- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh cilantro - for garnish
- Lettuce leaves - for serving
- Rice (cooked) - 200 grams
Steps
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, mix the minced lemongrass, garlic, shallots, fish sauce, lime juice, brown sugar, vegetable oil, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Add the fish fillets to the marinade, ensuring they are evenly coated. Let them marinate for 15 minutes.
- Carefully place the marinated fish on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
- Once cooked, remove the fish from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
- Serve the grilled fish on a plate, garnished with fresh cilantro, alongside cooked rice and lettuce leaves.
