Steps

  1. Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then cook it according to package instructions.
  2. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, lime juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, chili powder, and vegetable oil to create a marinade.
  3. Add the vegetarian shrimp to the marinade and let it sit for at least 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  4. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat.
  5. Grill the marinated vegetarian shrimp for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until they have grill marks and are heated through.
