- Snakehead fish - 400 grams
- Scallions - 50 grams
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Lime - 1 unit
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh herbs (cilantro, mint) - for garnish
Steps
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Clean the snakehead fish thoroughly and make 3 diagonal cuts on each side for better flavor absorption.
- In a bowl, mix salt, black pepper, and juice from half a lime. Rub this mixture all over the fish, including inside the cuts.
- Chop the scallions and garlic finely and mix them with vegetable oil in a small pan. Heat over low heat until the scallions are tender and fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.
- Place the fish on the grill and cook for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
