- Rice vinegar - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Fresh ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, for garnish
- Fresh cilantro - a handful, for garnish
- Lime wedges - 2, for serving
Steps
- In a bowl, mix together the white miso paste, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the marinade.
- Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat (about 200°C or 400°F).
- Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it on the grill or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Grill the salmon for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until it flakes easily with a fork and has nice grill marks.
- Once cooked, remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
- Serve the salmon garnished with chopped green onions, sesame seeds, and fresh cilantro, along with lime wedges on the side.
