Ingredients

  • Salmon fillets - 300 grams
  • Fresh lime juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Lime zest - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Honey - 1 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Lime wedges - for serving

Steps

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together lime juice, lime zest, minced garlic, fish sauce, honey, olive oil, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  3. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Once the grill is hot, lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
  5. Place the marinated salmon fillets on the grill skin-side down. Grill for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Remove the salmon from the grill and garnish with chopped cilantro. Serve with lime wedges on the side.
