- Cá chẽm (Snapper) - 400 grams, cleaned and filleted
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Coconut aminos - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Fresh mint - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Red chili - 1, deseeded and finely chopped
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Lettuce leaves - for serving
Steps
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, combine lemon juice, minced garlic, fish sauce, coconut aminos, chopped cilantro, chopped mint, red chili, black pepper, and olive oil. Mix well to create a marinade.
- Place the fish fillets in the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for 15 minutes.
- Once marinated, carefully place the fillets on the grill. Cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
- Remove the fish from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
- Serve the grilled fish over a bed of lettuce leaves, garnished with additional chopped herbs if desired.
