Ingredients

  • Cá chẽm (Snapper) - 400 grams, cleaned and filleted
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Coconut aminos - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Fresh mint - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Red chili - 1, deseeded and finely chopped
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Lettuce leaves - for serving

Steps

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, combine lemon juice, minced garlic, fish sauce, coconut aminos, chopped cilantro, chopped mint, red chili, black pepper, and olive oil. Mix well to create a marinade.
  3. Place the fish fillets in the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for 15 minutes.
  4. Once marinated, carefully place the fillets on the grill. Cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
  5. Remove the fish from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
  6. Serve the grilled fish over a bed of lettuce leaves, garnished with additional chopped herbs if desired.
