Ingredients

  • Sea bass fillet - 300 grams
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Lemon juice - 30 ml
  • Fish sauce - 15 ml
  • Olive oil - 15 ml
  • Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
  • Fresh cilantro - 15 grams, chopped
  • Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
  • Red chili - 1, finely chopped (optional)
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix minced garlic, lemon juice, fish sauce, olive oil, black pepper, salt, chopped cilantro, chopped green onions, and finely chopped red chili to create the marinade.
  2. Place the sea bass fillet in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over it, ensuring the fish is fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate.
  3. Preheat the grill or a grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the fish from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Place the fish on the grill skin-side down.
  5. Grill the fish for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and the flesh flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Once cooked, remove the fish from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
