Ingredients
- Rice paper - 4 sheets
- Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
- Cucumber - 1 medium, julienned
- Daikon radish - 1 small, julienned
- Fresh mint leaves - 10 grams, chopped
- Fresh cilantro - 10 grams, chopped
- Roasted peanuts - 50 grams, crushed
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
- Chili sauce - 1 teaspoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
Steps
- Prepare all the vegetables by washing and julienning the carrot, cucumber, and daikon radish.
- In a bowl, combine the julienned vegetables, chopped mint, and cilantro.
- In a separate small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, lime juice, chili sauce, and sesame oil to create the dressing.
- Fill a shallow dish with warm water and briefly soak each rice paper sheet for about 10-15 seconds until pliable.
- Lay the softened rice paper on a flat surface and add a portion of the vegetable mixture in the center.
- Sprinkle crushed roasted peanuts over the top of the vegetable mixture.
- Fold the sides of the rice paper over the filling, then roll it up tightly from the bottom to form a wrap.
- Repeat the process for the remaining rice paper sheets and filling.
- Serve the Banh Trang Tron with the remaining dressing on the side for dipping.
