- Fish sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped (for garnish)
- Lime - 1, cut into wedges (for serving)
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the thinly sliced beef, minced lemongrass, sliced chili pepper, minced garlic, fish sauce, soy sauce, and black pepper. Marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated beef to the skillet in a single layer. Sear for about 2-3 minutes without stirring to develop a nice crust.
- Stir the beef and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until fully cooked and tender.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped cilantro.
- Serve hot with lime wedges on the side.
