  • Fish sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lime - 1, cut into wedges (for serving)

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the thinly sliced beef, minced lemongrass, sliced chili pepper, minced garlic, fish sauce, soy sauce, and black pepper. Marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the marinated beef to the skillet in a single layer. Sear for about 2-3 minutes without stirring to develop a nice crust.
  4. Stir the beef and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until fully cooked and tender.
  5. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped cilantro.
  6. Serve hot with lime wedges on the side.
