- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
- Fresh cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped (for garnish)
- Lettuce leaves - 4 large (for serving)
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with fish sauce, soy sauce, and black pepper. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the marinated beef to the pan and cook for about 3-5 minutes until browned and cooked through, stirring frequently.
- Add the sliced yellow onion to the pan and continue to stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until the onions are tender.
