- Rice noodles - 200 grams
- Halal chicken breast - 150 grams, sliced
- Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
- Bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
- Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh cilantro - for garnish
- Lime - 1, cut into wedges
Steps
- Soak the rice noodles in warm water for about 15 minutes or until softened, then drain and set aside.
- In a large pan or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the sliced Halal chicken breast to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes until fully cooked and slightly browned.
- Stir in the julienned carrot and sliced bell pepper, cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender yet crisp.
- Add the soaked rice noodles to the pan along with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and black pepper. Toss everything together to combine and heat through, about 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in the chopped green onions. Serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro and lime wedges on the side.
