Ingredients

  • Baguette - 2 pieces
  • Grilled halal chicken breast - 150 grams, sliced
  • Vietnamese pork sausage (Giò lụa) - 100 grams, sliced
  • Pickled carrots - 50 grams
  • Pickled daikon radish - 50 grams
  • Cucumber - 1 small, sliced
  • Fresh cilantro - 20 grams
  • Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
  • Chili sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Soy sauce - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Prepare the pickled carrots and daikon by mixing them in a bowl with 100ml of water, 50ml of vinegar, and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Let them sit for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Slice the grilled halal chicken breast and Vietnamese pork sausage into thin pieces.
  3. Cut the baguettes lengthwise without cutting all the way through, creating a pocket.
  4. Spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise inside each baguette, then drizzle with soy sauce and chili sauce.
  5. Layer the sliced grilled chicken and pork sausage inside the baguette.
  6. Add the pickled carrots and daikon, followed by cucumber slices and fresh cilantro.
  7. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  8. Close the baguettes and serve immediately.
