Ingredients

  • Shrimp - 200 grams, peeled and deveined
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Chili flakes - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Mint - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lettuce leaves - 4 large (for wrapping)
  • Cucumber - 100 grams, julienned
  • Carrot - 50 grams, julienned
  • Radish - 50 grams, thinly sliced
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the shrimp, minced garlic, lime juice, fish sauce, and chili flakes. Marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat a pan over medium heat and add sesame oil. Add the marinated shrimp and cook for 3-4 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
  3. While the shrimp is cooking, prepare the vegetables by julienning the cucumber and carrot, and slicing the radish.
  4. Once the shrimp is cooked, remove from heat and stir in the chopped coriander and mint.
  5. To serve, take a large lettuce leaf and place a few shrimp in the center, then top with cucumber, carrot, and radish. Wrap the lettuce around the filling and enjoy.
