  • French baguette - 1 large
  • Marinated grilled chicken (Halal) - 200 grams
  • Cucumber - 1 medium, thinly sliced
  • Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
  • Daikon radish - 50 grams, julienned
  • Fresh cilantro - 20 grams
  • Fresh mint leaves - 10 grams
  • Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Chili sauce - 1 tablespoon (optional)
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat the grill or a non-stick pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the marinated grilled chicken with salt and black pepper, then grill for 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through and slightly charred.
  3. While the chicken is grilling, prepare the vegetables: julienne the carrot and daikon radish, and slice the cucumber.
  4. Once the chicken is cooked, let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it into thin strips.
  5. Slice the baguette horizontally, leaving one side intact to create a pocket.
  6. Spread mayonnaise on one side of the baguette, followed by a drizzle of soy sauce.
  7. Layer the grilled chicken strips inside the baguette, then add the cucumber, carrot, daikon radish, cilantro, and mint leaves.
  8. If desired, add chili sauce for heat, then close the baguette and serve immediately.
