Ingredients

  • Baguette - 2 pieces (about 200g each)
  • Pork liver pâté - 100g
  • Cucumber - 1 small, sliced
  • Carrot - 1 small, julienned
  • Daikon radish - 50g, julienned
  • Cilantro - 20g, fresh
  • Jalapeño - 1 small, sliced (optional)
  • Soy sauce - 2 teaspoons
  • Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Slice the baguettes in half lengthwise without cutting all the way through.
  2. Spread 50g of pork liver pâté evenly on each half of the baguettes.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise with soy sauce, salt, and pepper to taste.
  4. Spread the mayonnaise mixture over the pâté on each baguette.
  5. Layer the sliced cucumber, julienned carrot, and daikon radish on top of the pâté.
  6. Add sliced jalapeños and fresh cilantro to each sandwich.
  7. Close the baguettes and press down gently to compact the filling.
