- Squid - 100 grams, cleaned and sliced
- Fish sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Red chili - 1, thinly sliced
- Cucumber - 1/2, thinly sliced
- Carrot - 1/2, julienned
- Cilantro - a handful, chopped
- Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon for frying
Steps
- In a bowl, marinate the shrimp and squid with fish sauce, lime juice, minced garlic, salt, and pepper for about 10 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat, then add the marinated seafood and cook for 5-7 minutes until the shrimp are pink and cooked through.
- While the seafood cooks, prepare the baguettes by slicing them open and spreading mayonnaise on the inside.
- Once the seafood is cooked, layer it inside the baguettes, followed by cucumber slices, julienned carrots, sliced red chili, and chopped cilantro.
- Close the baguettes and serve immediately, optionally with extra lime wedges on the side.
