Ingredients

  • Ground pork - 250g
  • Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
  • Shallot, minced - 1 small
  • Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Cilantro, chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • Green onion, chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Coconut flour - 2 tablespoons
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Lettuce leaves - 4 large
  • Cucumber, sliced - 1/2 medium
  • Carrot, julienned - 1/2 medium
  • Radish, thinly sliced - 1/2 medium
  • Coconut oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Chili sauce (Paleo-friendly) - for serving

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, minced garlic, minced shallot, fish sauce, chopped cilantro, chopped green onion, black pepper, coconut flour, and egg. Mix well until fully incorporated.
  2. Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties.
  3. Heat coconut oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the vegetables by washing and slicing the cucumber, julienning the carrot, and thinly slicing the radish.
  5. Once the patties are cooked, assemble the burgers by placing a patty on a large lettuce leaf. Top with cucumber slices, julienned carrot, and radish slices.
  6. Drizzle with Paleo-friendly chili sauce and wrap the lettuce around the fillings to enjoy your burger.
