- Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon

- Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Green onion - 2 tablespoons, finely chopped
- Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Gluten-free burger buns - 2 pieces
- Cucumber - 1/2, thinly sliced
- Carrot - 1 small, julienned
- Daikon radish - 1/2 small, julienned
- Rice vinegar - 2 tablespoons
- Sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Sriracha - to taste
- Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
- Lettuce leaves - 2-4 leaves
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork, fish sauce, minced garlic, cilantro, green onion, lime juice, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into two patties, approximately 1.5 cm thick.
- In a small bowl, mix rice vinegar and sugar until dissolved. Add julienned carrots and daikon radish, and let marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until cooked through and browned.
- While the patties are cooking, toast the gluten-free burger buns until lightly golden.
- Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun, then place a lettuce leaf on top.
- Add the cooked patty, followed by the marinated carrots and daikon, and cucumber slices.
- Drizzle Sriracha on top according to your spice preference, then place the top half of the bun on each burger and serve immediately.
