Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 300 grams
  • Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
  • Fish sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Brown sugar substitute (erythritol) - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
  • Lettuce leaves (romaine or butter lettuce) - 4 large leaves
  • Cucumber - 1 small, thinly sliced
  • Carrot - 1 small, julienned
  • Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped

  3. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the lettuce wraps by washing the lettuce leaves and patting them dry.
  5. Once the patties are cooked, assemble the burgers by placing each patty inside a lettuce leaf. Top with sliced cucumber, julienned carrot, chopped cilantro, and drizzle with Sriracha sauce to taste.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy your low-carb Vietnamese burgers!
