- Brown sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
- Baguette - 2 pieces
- Cucumber - 1 small, julienned
- Carrot - 1 small, julienned
- Daikon radish - 50 grams, julienned
- Fresh cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Fresh mint leaves - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Chili slices - to taste
- Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons

Steps
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, fish sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, and black pepper. Add the beef sirloin, ensuring it is well coated. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook for about 4-5 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove from heat and slice thinly.
- While the beef is cooking, prepare the baguettes by slicing them open lengthwise without cutting all the way through.
- Spread mayonnaise on both sides of the baguette. Layer the sliced beef, cucumber, carrot, daikon radish, cilantro, mint, and chili slices inside the baguette.
- Serve with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the sandwich before eating.
