  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil - for frying

Steps

  1. Peel and grate the sweet potato into a bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix rice flour, cornstarch, turmeric powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Gradually add water to the dry ingredients, stirring until you achieve a smooth batter.
  4. Fold the grated sweet potato and chopped green onion into the batter until well combined.
  5. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a tablespoon of vegetable oil.
  6. Pour a ladleful of the batter into the skillet, spreading it into a round shape.
  7. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
