- Rice vermicelli - 200 grams

- Ground black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh herbs (mint, cilantro, basil) - 1/2 cup, chopped
- Roasted peanuts, crushed - 30 grams
- Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
- Lettuce leaves - 4 large
Steps
- Cook the rice vermicelli according to package instructions, then drain and rinse under cold water. Set aside.
- In a bowl, mix the shrimp with minced garlic, fish sauce, lime juice, sugar, and black pepper. Marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the marinated shrimp and cook for about 3-4 minutes until they turn pink and are cooked through.
- To assemble, take a portion of the cooked rice vermicelli and form it into a small nest on a plate.
- Top the vermicelli with the cooked shrimp, fresh herbs, and crushed peanuts.
- Serve with lettuce leaves on the side for wrapping.
