- Cassava flour - 200 grams
- Coconut milk - 150 ml
- Granulated sugar - 50 grams
- Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
- Water - 100 ml
- Grated coconut (for topping) - 50 grams
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine 200 grams of cassava flour, 50 grams of granulated sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
- Gradually add 150 ml of coconut milk and 100 ml of water to the dry ingredients, stirring until you have a smooth batter.
- Pour the batter into a lightly greased or parchment-lined steaming dish, spreading it evenly.
- Prepare a steamer and once the water is boiling, place the steaming dish inside, covering it with a lid.
- Steam the mixture for about 20 minutes, or until it becomes firm and set.
- Once done, remove the dish from the steamer and let it cool for a few minutes.
- Cut the steamed cassava mixture into squares or rectangles and serve topped with 50 grams of grated coconut.
