Ingredients

  • Shrimp - 200 grams, peeled and deveined
  • Pork (ground) - 150 grams
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Shallot - 1 small, minced
  • Fish sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Red chili - 1, finely chopped
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Zucchini noodles - 200 grams
  • Lettuce leaves - 4 large, for serving
  • Peanuts - 2 tablespoons, crushed (optional)
  • Green onion - 2, chopped (for garnish)

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine ground pork, minced garlic, shallot, fish sauce, lime juice, cilantro, red chili, black pepper, and salt. Mix well and form into small patties.
  2. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the pork patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through.
  3. In the same grill, add the shrimp and grill for about 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
  4. While the shrimp and pork are grilling, prepare the zucchini noodles by spiraling them or using a vegetable peeler to create thin strips.
  5. Once cooked, assemble the dish by placing zucchini noodles on a plate, topping with grilled shrimp and pork patties.
  6. Serve with lettuce leaves on the side, and garnish with crushed peanuts and chopped green onions if desired.
