Ingredients

  • beef sirloin - 300 grams
  • garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • fresh ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • sriracha sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • lime juice - 1 tablespoon
  • fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • skewers - 4 pieces (soaked in water if wooden)

Steps

  1. Cut the beef sirloin into thin strips, about 1 cm wide.
  2. In a bowl, mix the minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, fish sauce, sriracha sauce, sesame oil, black pepper, and lime juice to create the marinade.
  3. Add the beef strips to the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Thread the marinated beef onto the skewers.
  6. Grill the skewers for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.
  7. Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
  8. Serve the skewers hot, garnished with chopped cilantro and a side of extra sriracha sauce for dipping.
