Ingredients

  • Beef sirloin - 300 grams
  • Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
  • Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Red chili flakes - 1/2 teaspoon (optional)
  • Lettuce leaves - 4 large (for wrapping)

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine minced garlic, soy sauce, fish sauce, lime juice, black pepper, cilantro, olive oil, and red chili flakes to create the marinade.
  2. Slice the beef sirloin into thin strips and add them to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Marinate for at least 15 minutes or up to an hour for more flavor.
  3. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the beef from the marinade and grill for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
  5. Serve the grilled beef on a plate with fresh lettuce leaves for wrapping. Enjoy by placing a piece of beef in a lettuce leaf and adding your choice of additional herbs or vegetables.
