  • Lemongrass - 2 stalks, finely minced (white part only)
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Fish sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the minced lemongrass, garlic, fish sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, black pepper, and olive oil to create the marinade.

  3. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated beef slices onto skewers, leaving space between each piece for even cooking.
  5. Grill the skewers for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.
  6. Remove from the grill and let the beef rest for a couple of minutes.
  7. Serve the grilled beef on a plate, garnished with fresh cilantro and accompanied by lettuce leaves for wrapping.
