  • Stevia or erythritol - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Shallots - 1 medium, minced
  • Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lettuce leaves - for wrapping (1 cup)

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine fish sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce, stevia or erythritol, minced garlic, minced shallots, black pepper, sesame oil, and lime juice to create the marinade.
  2. Add the thinly sliced beef into the marinade and mix well, ensuring all pieces are coated. Cover and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes, preferably in the refrigerator for up to 1 hour.
  3. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Once hot, grill the marinated beef slices for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
  5. Remove the beef from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Serve wrapped in lettuce leaves and topped with fresh cilantro.
