Ingredients

  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon (or coconut aminos for keto)
  • Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
  • Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Butter - 50 grams
  • Avocado oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Lettuce leaves - for serving
  • Sliced cucumbers - for garnish

Steps

  1. Slice the beef sirloin into thin strips, about 1 cm thick.
  2. In a bowl, combine minced garlic, fish sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, black pepper, and chopped cilantro to create the marinade.
  3. Add the beef strips to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat and brush with avocado oil.
  5. Remove the beef from the marinade and grill for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your liking.
  6. While the beef is grilling, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add a pinch of salt and stir until combined.
  7. Once the beef is cooked, let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
  8. Serve the grilled beef on a plate with lettuce leaves and sliced cucumbers, drizzling the melted butter over the top.
