- Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
- Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
- Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Butter - 50 grams
- Avocado oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Lettuce leaves - for serving
- Sliced cucumbers - for garnish
Steps
- Slice the beef sirloin into thin strips, about 1 cm thick.
- In a bowl, combine minced garlic, fish sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, black pepper, and chopped cilantro to create the marinade.
- Add the beef strips to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat and brush with avocado oil.
- Remove the beef from the marinade and grill for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your liking.
- While the beef is grilling, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add a pinch of salt and stir until combined.
- Once the beef is cooked, let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
- Serve the grilled beef on a plate with lettuce leaves and sliced cucumbers, drizzling the melted butter over the top.
