Ingredients

  • Squid - 300 grams, cleaned and sliced
  • Zucchini - 1 medium, spiralized
  • Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
  • Cucumber - 1 medium, julienned
  • Fresh mint - 10 grams, chopped
  • Fresh cilantro - 10 grams, chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Lime - 1, juiced
  • Fish sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Chili flakes - 1 teaspoon (optional)
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix the squid with minced garlic, fish sauce, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. While the squid is marinating, prepare the vegetables: spiralize the zucchini, julienne the carrot and cucumber, and chop the mint and cilantro.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated squid and cook for 3-4 minutes until the squid is opaque and cooked through.
  4. In a large serving bowl, combine the spiralized zucchini, julienned carrot, and cucumber. Toss with the cooked squid and add the chopped mint and cilantro.
  5. If desired, sprinkle chili flakes over the top for added heat, and serve immediately.
