  • Water - 100 milliliters

Steps

  1. Peel and slice the carrots into thin rounds.
  2. In a medium saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  4. Add the sliced carrots to the saucepan and stir well to coat them with olive oil.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper, then pour in the water and lemon juice.
  6. Cover the saucepan and reduce the heat to low, allowing the carrots to simmer for about 20 minutes, or until they are tender.
  7. Once cooked, remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley.
  8. Serve warm or at room temperature, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
