Ingredients

  • All-purpose flour - 250 grams
  • Warm water - 150 ml
  • Active dry yeast - 7 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black olives (pitted and chopped) - 100 grams
  • Green olives (pitted and chopped) - 50 grams
  • Cherry tomatoes (halved) - 100 grams
  • Fresh parsley (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Ground black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine warm water and active dry yeast, allowing it to sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and salt. Make a well in the center and pour in the yeast mixture and olive oil.
  3. Mix until a dough forms, then knead on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes, or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  6. Once risen, punch down the dough and roll it out into a circular shape about 1 cm thick.
  7. Transfer the dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Spread the chopped black and green olives, halved cherry tomatoes, and sprinkle the fresh parsley, oregano, red pepper flakes, and black pepper evenly over the surface.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the crust is golden and crispy.
  10. Remove from the oven, let cool for a couple of minutes, slice, and serve warm.
