- Black olives (pitted and chopped) - 100 grams
- Green olives (pitted and chopped) - 50 grams
- Cherry tomatoes (halved) - 100 grams
- Fresh parsley (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
- Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
- Ground black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Steps
- In a bowl, combine warm water and active dry yeast, allowing it to sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and salt. Make a well in the center and pour in the yeast mixture and olive oil.
- Mix until a dough forms, then knead on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes, or until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
- Once risen, punch down the dough and roll it out into a circular shape about 1 cm thick.
- Transfer the dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Spread the chopped black and green olives, halved cherry tomatoes, and sprinkle the fresh parsley, oregano, red pepper flakes, and black pepper evenly over the surface.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the crust is golden and crispy.
- Remove from the oven, let cool for a couple of minutes, slice, and serve warm.
