- Fine bulgur - 100 grams
- Boiling water - 200 ml
- Fresh parsley - 30 grams, chopped
- Fresh mint - 10 grams, chopped
- Tomato - 1 medium, finely diced
- Cucumber - 1 small, finely diced
- Red onion - 1 small, finely chopped
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Pomegranate molasses - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the fine bulgur and boiling water. Cover and let it sit for about 10 minutes until the bulgur absorbs the water and becomes tender.
- Fluff the bulgur with a fork and let it cool slightly.
- Add the chopped parsley, mint, diced tomato, cucumber, and red onion to the bulgur.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, pomegranate molasses, salt, black pepper, and paprika.
- Pour the dressing over the bulgur mixture and toss gently to combine all ingredients evenly.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Let the kısır sit for at least 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
