- Canned diced tomatoes - 400 grams
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red pepper flakes - 1/4 teaspoon (optional)
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped (for garnish)
Steps
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the fresh green beans and cook for about 3-4 minutes, until they start to soften.
- Add the canned diced tomatoes, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
