Steps

  1. Wash and trim the ends of the green beans.
  2. In a pot of boiling salted water, blanch the green beans for 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp, then drain and set aside.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
