- Red bell pepper - 1 medium, diced

- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Water - 250 milliliters
- Chickpeas - 100 grams, cooked
Steps
- Wash the fresh green beans and trim the ends, then set aside.
- In a medium saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the diced tomatoes and red bell pepper to the pan, cooking for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables soften.
- Season with salt and black pepper, then add the green beans and stir well to coat.
- Pour in the water and bring the mixture to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to low, cover the saucepan, and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes until the green beans are tender.
- Stir in the cooked chickpeas during the last 5 minutes of cooking to heat them through.
