- Plain yogurt - 100 grams

- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red bell pepper - 1 medium, cut into chunks
- Onion - 1 medium, cut into chunks
- Skewers - 4 (soaked in water if wooden)
Steps
- Cut the chicken breast into 2.5 cm cubes and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix the yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- Add the chicken cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or overnight for deeper flavor).
- Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Once marinated, thread the chicken, red bell pepper, and onion onto the skewers, alternating between chicken and vegetables.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice char.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
