  • Green bell pepper (finely chopped) - 1 small
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Lemon (juiced) - 1/2
  • Fresh parsley (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Chili flakes (optional) - 1/4 teaspoon

Steps

  1. In a bowl, marinate the sliced beef or chicken with lemon juice, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add the marinated meat to the pan and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the diced tomato and green bell pepper, cooking for an additional 5 minutes until softened.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary, then remove from heat and mix in the chopped parsley.
  6. Warm the flatbreads in a separate pan or microwave for a few seconds to make them pliable.
  7. Spoon the meat mixture onto the flatbreads, add chili flakes if desired, and wrap them tightly.
  8. Serve immediately with extra lemon wedges and fresh parsley on the side.
