  • Onion - 1 medium, grated
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Bell pepper - 1 medium, cut into chunks
  • Zucchini - 1 small, sliced
  • Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams
  • Fresh parsley - for garnish

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, olive oil, minced garlic, grated onion, cumin, paprika, black pepper, salt, and lemon juice to create a marinade.
  2. Add the cubed lamb shoulder to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
  3. Preheat your oven to 160°C (320°F).
  4. Thread the marinated lamb onto skewers, alternating with bell pepper chunks, zucchini slices, and cherry tomatoes.
  5. Place the skewers on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and roast in the oven for about 1 hour, or until the lamb is tender and cooked through.
  6. Serve the Tandır Kebabı hot, garnished with fresh parsley, alongside a side of grilled vegetables or a fresh salad.
