Ingredients

  • Ground beef (kosher) - 150 grams

  • Tomato paste - 2 tablespoons
  • Canned diced tomatoes - 200 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Water - 500 ml

Steps

  1. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add a pinch of salt. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic and ground beef to the skillet, breaking up the meat with a wooden spoon. Cook until the beef is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the tomato paste, canned diced tomatoes, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and stir to combine everything evenly. If the mixture is too thick, add a little water to reach the desired consistency.
  6. Remove from heat, stir in the chopped parsley and lemon juice, and let it sit for 2 minutes to absorb the flavors before serving.
