Ingredients

  • All-purpose flour - 250 grams
  • Water - 150 ml
  • Olive oil - 30 ml
  • Yeast - 7 grams (1 packet)
  • Salt - 5 grams
  • Tahini - 60 grams
  • Lemon juice - 15 ml
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Parsley - 10 grams, chopped

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, yeast, and salt. Gradually add the warm water and olive oil, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  2. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 15 minutes.
  3. While the dough is rising, prepare the tahini mixture by combining tahini, lemon juice, minced garlic, and paprika in a bowl. Mix well until smooth and creamy.
  4. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
  5. Once the dough has risen, divide it into two equal portions. Roll each portion out into an oval shape about 1 cm thick.
  6. Place the rolled-out dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spread the tahini mixture evenly over each piece, leaving a small border around the edges.
  7. Sprinkle chopped parsley on top of the tahini mixture.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven, let it cool for a couple of minutes, then slice and serve warm.
