Ingredients
- All-purpose flour - 250 grams
- Water - 150 ml
- Olive oil - 30 ml
- Yeast - 7 grams (1 packet)
- Salt - 5 grams
- Tahini - 60 grams
- Lemon juice - 15 ml
- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Parsley - 10 grams, chopped
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, yeast, and salt. Gradually add the warm water and olive oil, mixing until a soft dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 15 minutes.
- While the dough is rising, prepare the tahini mixture by combining tahini, lemon juice, minced garlic, and paprika in a bowl. Mix well until smooth and creamy.
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
- Once the dough has risen, divide it into two equal portions. Roll each portion out into an oval shape about 1 cm thick.
- Place the rolled-out dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spread the tahini mixture evenly over each piece, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Sprinkle chopped parsley on top of the tahini mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, let it cool for a couple of minutes, then slice and serve warm.
