Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 200 grams
  • Ground lamb - 100 grams
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Paprika - 1 tablespoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Sumac - 1 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Water - 50 milliliters

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef and ground lamb.
  2. Add minced garlic, paprika, cumin, black pepper, salt, red pepper flakes, sumac, and olive oil to the meat mixture.
  3. Mix all ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into sausage links or patties, ensuring they are compact.
  5. Refrigerate the formed sausages for at least 15 minutes to firm up.
  6. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  7. Grill the sucuk for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and slightly charred.
  8. Remove from grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
