- Burger buns - 2, kosher
- Tomato sauce - 100 grams
- Plain yogurt - 100 grams, kosher
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Sliced tomatoes - 1 medium
- Lettuce leaves - 2
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, chopped onion, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into 2 equal-sized patties.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the lamb patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- While the patties are cooking, heat the tomato sauce in a small saucepan until warmed through.
- Toast the burger buns lightly on a separate pan or in a toaster.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a lamb patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with warm tomato sauce, a dollop of plain yogurt, sliced tomatoes, lettuce, and chopped parsley.
- Place the top half of the bun on each burger and serve immediately.
