Ingredients

  • Ground lamb - 300 grams
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Burger buns - 2 pieces
  • Tomato sauce - 100 grams
  • Greek yogurt - 100 grams
  • Butter - 20 grams
  • Fresh parsley - for garnish

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the ground lamb, minced garlic, chopped onion, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  2. Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties, about 1.5 cm thick.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until they are cooked to your desired doneness.
  4. While the patties are cooking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat and add the tomato sauce. Stir to combine and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Toast the burger buns in the same skillet for about 1-2 minutes until they are golden brown.
  6. Assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a bun, topping with the warm tomato sauce and a generous spoonful of Greek yogurt.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
