- Ground lamb - 250 grams
- Ground beef - 250 grams
- Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Parsley - 2 tablespoons, finely chopped
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
- Cucumber - 1 medium, sliced
- Lettuce leaves - 4
Steps
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, parsley, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Mix the ingredients together until well combined, then shape the mixture into oval patties.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they are browned and cooked through.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the salad by slicing the tomato and cucumber.
- Once the patties are done, remove them from the skillet and place them on a plate lined with lettuce leaves.
- Drizzle the remaining tablespoon of olive oil over the salad, and serve alongside the Simit Kebap.
