Sardalya Tava

- Sardines - 400 grams, cleaned and filleted
- All-purpose flour - 100 grams
- Semolina - 50 grams
- Olive oil - 4 tablespoons
- Lemon - 1, juiced
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
Steps
- Rinse the sardine fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- In a shallow bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, semolina, salt, and black pepper.
- Dredge each sardine fillet in the flour mixture, ensuring they are well coated.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Once the oil is hot, add half of the sardine fillets to the skillet, cooking for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the sardines from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Add the remaining olive oil to the skillet and repeat with the second batch of sardines.
- In a small bowl, combine the lemon juice, minced garlic, and chopped parsley. Mix well.
- Serve the sardines hot, drizzled with the lemon-garlic-parsley sauce.
