Ingredients

  • Milk - 500 ml

  • Cornstarch - 40 g

  • Pistachios (crushed) - 30 g
  • Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
  • Salt - a pinch

Steps

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the milk, sugar, cornstarch, and a pinch of salt. Whisk until the cornstarch is fully dissolved.
  2. Place the saucepan over medium heat and continuously stir the mixture until it thickens, which should take about 10-15 minutes.
  3. Once thickened, remove from heat and stir in the butter, rosewater, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into serving bowls or ramekins and let it cool to room temperature.
